Walk-in-selection Test for Technical Associate (TA-JRF)
Applications are invited by Forest Survey of India, Dehradun, for
ten (10) positions of Technical
Associates (TA/JRF) on contractual basis
for Digital Image Processing
(DIP)/Geographical Information System (GIS) related work, on a
short-term basis initially for a period of six months. Extension of tenure to
the deserving TAs would be possible only if it is required for the project.

Essential Qualification:
M.Sc./B.E/B.Tech/M.A(Geography)/MCA from recognized University/Institute with some experience of remote sensing
& GIS applications (Special paper,
project, dissertation, work experience etc.).
Desirable Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Remote Sensing and GIS applications. Preference
will be given to UGC/CSIR/NET qualified candidates.
Desirable Experience:
6 month’s experience of working in Digital Image Processing (DIP) and GIS softwares.
Emoluments:
Rs.16000/-p.m. (fixed) +HRA as admissible.
Age:
Shall not be more than 30 years as on date on
advertisement. Upper age limit may be relaxed
up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Physically
handicapped categories.
Selection:
Candidates have to appear for written test, and if qualified, have to appear
