Name of Post : Agriculture Graduate Trainee (AGT)

QUALIFICATION :  B.Sc.(Agriculture) - Four years Full Time Degree Course.

Note : 

1. B.Sc. (Agriculture) Degree should be from the University/Institute recognized by UGC.
2. General/OBC candidates having minimum aggregate of 60% marks in all semesters and 55% in case of SC/ST are eligible to apply.
3. Candidates who have passed their B.Sc.(Agri.) degree in 2012 and also those who have passed or are likely to pass their Degree in the year 2013 by 31st July, 2013 with minimum of 60% marks can only apply Those who have passed their Degree prior to 2012 need not apply.. 

UPPER AGE LIMIT : 28 years, as on 1st July, 2013.
Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST category and 3 years for O.B.C. category not belonging to creamy layer.

KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGE : 

Candidate must be well versed with the knowledge of reading, writing and speaking regional language of the State for which application is made (one or more than one language). Knowledge of Hindi is also desirable.

TRAINING PERIOD : The duration of Training will be one year.

COMPENSATION : 

During training, stipend and other benefits will be paid as per Rules of the Society which is presently about Rs. 26,000/- p.m. On successful completion of one year training and subject to requirement, the AGTs will be absorbed at basic pay of Rs.15450/- p.m. in the regular Pay Scale of Rs.15000-26250, with usual Allowances/ benefits as per Rules of the Society.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

Eligible candidates will be required to appear for preliminary Computer based On-Line Test in open environment by using their own resource (the configuration will be intimated to them). Only short-listed candidates based on their performance in the Preliminary On-Line Test, will be called for Final On-Line Test in the controlled environment i.e. at the designated Centres at Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Palampur, Pune, Raipur, Shimla and Varanasi. Details will be communicated to the eligible candidates.


Only those candidates who are short-listed on the basis of their performance in Final On-Line Test will be called for personal interview.


Candidates are required to opt any two Test Centres in order of their preference out of these centres. Efforts will be made to allot the test centre in order of choice given by the candidates. Request for change in the test centre once opted will not be entertained. IFFCO reserves the right to cancel any of these centres and in that eventuality, the candidates will have to appear in the centre as decided by the Management.


PLACE OF POSTING : Notwithstanding the selection and placement of AGTs for training, the selected candidates on absorption can be posted in any of the States/Projects/Establishment(s) of IFFCO anywhere in India or abroad.


BOND : On appointment, the Trainees would be required to furnish a bond as per Rules of the Society.


GENERAL : The nature of duties and responsibilities of the incumbents in IFFCO involve extensive touring in Rural areas. Only such candidates having aptitude and willingness to work in field should apply.

Applications from the eligible candidates received through online will be accepted. Any application sent through any other modes will not be entertained.



NOTE : 

1. The applicants should keep their 10th class Roll Number and all their educational Qualification Certificates ready with them, while filling up the Application Form on-line.
2. The applicants must fill in only the correct information in Application Form.
3. In the Application Form, the applicant's name and Father's name should be filled up exactly the same as appearing in their educational qualification certificate(s).
4. The applicants who are subsequently found to have filled incorrect information will be disqualified for test/interview/employment in IFFCO. 
5. All communications to the candidates will be sent through E-mail or through SMS. The Candidates should not change E-mail ID and Mobile No. given in the Application Form and keep the same active atleast for six months.
6. The candidate must save the Application and take a print out of the same for future reference.
