ADMISSION PROCEDURE of AIEEE
The entire admission process consists of four steps:
Step 1. Online registration: In this process, candidates eligible for central counseling should register themselves for online counseling in the CCB website from June 16 to 25, 2012 from places convenient to them. Spot Round registrations can be done during August 3 - 6, 2012
Step 2. Online choice filling and locking of choices: After registration, candidates will be able to exercise their branch/institute choices on the CCB website using Internet during June 16 - 25, 2012 from places convenient to them.
Step 3. Online Seat Allotment and personally reporting to a Reporting Center: Candidates will be offered seats based on their choices in the order of merit (AIEEE All India Rank) over multiple rounds of allotment. Candidates who are allotted a seat (i.e., offered admission) will report to any one of the ‘Reporting Centers' during the time frames specified, get the documents verified and pay the initial fee to mark their acceptance of the offer of seat and exercise upgrade Options, if required. They will also be issued a provisional admission letter.
Step 4. Getting Admitted to Allotted Institute: Candidates are required to be physically present at the Institute where the candidate is getting admitted (hereinafter called 'Allotted Institute') after verification of all original documents as per the procedure of the allotted institute.
Proof of payment of initial fee of Rs. 35,000/- (for OP, OPPH, OBC, OBCPH, OM and OMPH candidates)/Rs. 25,000/- (for SC, SCPH, ST and STPH candidates) is to be produced at the time of reporting. The fee can be paid through any one of following modes: (i) Online payment using Debit/Credit card, (ii) NEFT (iii) e-challan and (iv) Demand Draft. The demand draft should be drawn in favor of “Chairman, CCB-2012”, payable at Rourkela. If the fee is paid in the form of Demand Draft, the same shall be produced at the time of reporting. For spot round fee is Rs. 45,000/- (for OP, OPPH, OBC, OBCPH, OM and OMPH candidates)/Rs. 40,000/-(for SC, SCPH, ST and STPH candidates) and the mode of payment is through Demand Draft only.
